I get so excited every time I read (and view) things like this. The world our George is growing up in is so very different than it used to be. Just think what may come next with just a little more research, a little more understanding, a little more compassion. I can't wait!

I am so glad you posted the article and the utube video - I have actually read another article about a parent caught up in this controversy (she also has an autistic child). I need to find that again and send it to you! duh! BUT, this does make one think, doesn't it??????
I do certain mannerisms that I 'hide' from the world that this woman does - anyway, just interesting. I have to run, wish I could post more .... ack!
As Liam may very well be placed with a PDD-NOS label in the future this was really interesting reading.
Especially the info on the Wechsler versus the Raven. His verbal and processing speed Wechsler results, I think, simply don't reflect his abilities.
And it makes me think differently too. Thanks for posting it.
